hmm, that's kinda interesting. I'm the exact opposite. AT THE TIME, IN THE VIDEO (they're all listed, btw) but from a longer run (6-7 lefts) i'd be on a 14' 150, and on meets a 14' 155-160. NOW: practice (6-7 lefts) 14' 150 - 160 and 15' 150 in meets (i'm 5'7 130 lbs)
yeah u need to drive longer push with both hands until u see ur botom hand then colapes it then u should be virtical and go from there and try jumping off the ground a bit but what poles do u usually jump on cuz those were tiny
yea, i've been working, overtime on fixing that problem, and i'm finally getting it under control. i gotta post some new vids, soon. and poles, when? like, during a meet, or practice??
you need to extend your left arm and push the pole.. youre jumping American style and that is highly inconsistant. Look who have all records. The Russians. Move the pole dont hang... btw you look like youre stabbing pigs
Uh, dude, there's a little more to it than that... gripping up is exactly what he SHOULDN'T do right now. Why focus on jumping high in practice this early? What comes out of that? TIME WASTED is what!
6P you mainly know what's good advice and bad advice now, so...
Everything looks like it's coming together, but you aren't having time to reach your potential. you have a great tall plant.allowing your pole to reach vertical faster. Its making you finish your jump way too early. thus you need a longer pole. If you had a longer or held higher, it'd slow down the speed of the pole and allow you to actually swing up the pole instead a a blah flyaway. grow some balls and move those longer poles!
2 weeks ago i startd vaultng and i can alredy bend the poll weeeyyyyyy more then u. no offence, but i think im gunna be better then u.

is that the generic comment, that you post on everyone's pole vaulting video?? i have flaws, but not those flaws.
WHAT I NEED TO WORK ON IS:
1) keeping the drive knee up
2) swinging longer
3) extending
at no point, do i stab at the box. that was last year
