Hasn't anyone seen the paper from Advanced Nutrients? "Do Carbohydrate Supplements Really Produce Bigger Yields and Root Systems in Hydro Grows"? Seriously, Google it. Stupid YouTube won't let me post the link.
Unsulphured molasses is about 1.50 a pint, and it actually does what the expensive BS claims to do. Only molasses will provide the bacterial environment that helps plants absorb nutrients more efficiently. Just cut it off when you stop your nutrients, and you won't affect the taste of your plants. Bud Candy and all other like products are a complete rip off. People haven't been using molasses for decades for nothing.
fan leaves break down and provide sugar to flowers so if you cut them away for whatever reason this is probably a good product for you, plus your flowers need the vitamins so its all good anyway.
Use Sugaree by Cutting Edge Solutions, it does not need bacteria to break it down and it can be directly accessed by the plant roots....MUCH better and cheaper product than Bud Candy!
Im abit new was wondering if you can use bud candy and big bud at the same time and maybe Bud Factor X ? or should i be 2 porduct at most?
i dont rly get it is bud candy for the thc or really the taste they saying??? cause i mean it says big yield and it says same thing on the big bud aaaand on the Bud Factor X so i mean w00t? =P i guess Bud Factor X i the best cause its so expensive but.
And how ofter should i feed them ? everytime i give water?
hey dude grow u use hydro i use soil 1000hps my flowerin stage plants go into 7 gallon pots and i acually used bud kandy but i left it in for a week extra instead or 8 i did 9
get aminoacids + blackstrap molasse + micronutrients+ bacteria/mycorrhizae
In the Sonoma County go to Community Market (close to SRJC) get aminoacids & blackstrap molasse add these to your bacteria/mycorrhizael solution, and the fertilizer Grow More, very cheap.
If you really want to expend your $ then better buy mycorrhizae/bacteria + blackstrap molasse and the golden winner phosphorload, a product from australia, Excellent. Expensive but you will not regret.
@CanadianOrganik420 do not use advanced nutrients products with organics. It will kill your microlife, I suggest you try SUGAREE by Cutting Edge Solutions, it's organic and OMRI labeled, it smells amazing and helps the plant to produce more flavanoids.
@purplekonehead2010 I like General Organics Line of nutes. I also use Bud Swel during flowering. Beneficial bacteria and mycorrhizae are a must for my soil. THANKS!
hey dude nice vids i am a first time grower and just started watching your vids you definitly seem more advanced grower. what nutrients do you use?? for flower?
Thanks for all the info! I think the secret to getting bigger yields is to use nutrients that can actually help your plants reach their fullest potential, including better aroma and taste on food crops. I am using Bud Candy in my grows and so far, I am pretty satisfied with the results.
I used it before and still do it didnt really change great flavor each strain still keeps it own flavor i grow several strains all come out very much different
Im not against advanced but I do think there overpriced

I was told bud candy bottles were expanding from all the sugars in them, thats why they changed the formulation.

when i make my guano if i use bud CAndy i shouldnt have to add molasses being that bud candy has molasses as a main ingredient....
CanadianOrganik420 1 year ago
@CanadianOrganik420 not any more they dont. the molasses was making the bottles swell with pressure so they replaced it with a substitute
Kelspeed1972 11 months ago
@Kelspeed1972 the bottle i have is from before they changed the recipe it has molasses in it ^_^

use bud candy.
Contains sugars, and b-vitamins.
Sugar will feed any enzymes, or beneficial fungi, microbes, bacteria.
