Congratulations are in order for Gary Gait, who recently was named the Women's Lacrosse Head Coach at Syracuse University. And folks, Gary Gait isn't only the best player ever, but he is an awesome coach, too. He was the top assistant to Cindy Timchal when Maryland won 7 straight National Titles from 1995-2001. And, although Timchal was the head coach, it was said that Gary played a bigger part in their success. Since Gary has left Maryland, the Terps haven't even been to the title game.

Although Syracuse isn't one of the easiest sells for top women's talent, they will get many great players who will want to play for Gait.
