Thinngs were definately not going good. Partially due to Bush not watching guys like Barney Frank. There was an underestimation of what it would take to beat alquaida and some REAL probs the dem run house and congress. So yes we were set for someone to send us a new direction. The repubs messed up and tried to slip a "moderate" into the mix. Hopefully we wil have a true conservs to come in and clean things up in the house, congress, then a Reagan style pres in '12.

It's like asking what are the policies of my four year old daughter - she might be strong willed, skilled, know how to interact etc etc but you wouldn't really call that policies would you? Even if John McCain chose her as veep.

She participated in one debate...and won. She won when she walked up and asked:"Can I call you Joe?". You remember things like that. I'm old enough to remember Carter-Reagan. She's a governor and a good one. Alaskans are pragmatic and tough and her approval #s there are tremendous. She crosses the aisle in Alaska, works through both parties and runs that state..well. I look @ Obama and wonder how he ever got elected. Once the media falls Out of love with him, they'll fall IN love with her.

I don't know about all the media claims. I simply stated my own impression of her. She reminds me of Miss South Carolina and those other shallow models who may be well spoken too but obviously have the depth of a sheet of paper.
