The issue of revival and concerning the Ummah's weakness is largely due to the absence of shariah in the islamic lands and that the rulers are more interested in palaces and petro dollars than the advancement of the Islamic ummah.

@Historicalia The leaders are that way because they reflect us. The Prophet (salallaahu alayhi wa salam) said you will have over you the leaders you deserve. He also said "we must obey them, even if the beat your backs and steal your wealth"etc

Obedience has a context in shariah, as mentioned by the Prophet (saw) ;' The highest of Jihad is the word of truth to the tyrant ruler." Furthermore, The prophet (saw) said there is no obedience in the haraam actions and especially not in kufr.

You must have loyalty to Allah and his Prophet not the Saudi government. May Allah protect us all from the evils of taghoot.

Thats not untrue, but did the Prophet (saw) ever command us to obey rulers in the areas which are clearly haraam, did he not say that we must account them? You have to look at all the evidences not just the ones that certain people use to legitmise doing nothing but saying 'yes , yes yes' to the rulers when our brothers and sisters all over the world are suffering due to the lack of a ruler who rules by the Quraan and the sunnah.

@Historicalia -- Also true, but your responsibility is to the rulers alone, and the responsibility is to inform the rulers in a setting befitting their position in the ummah and not in public forum. There is nothing from the Sunnah that is indicative of any of the ruling Khulafaa being jested in public, but guided aright and advised in private. This is where the modern Khawaarij have gone astray. This is what I have attained after years in the mountains with Muqbil bin Haadee

I just wanted to ask why saudi women get their citizenship revoked if they marry non saudi men, Is this from the sunna and is democracy haram?

Wa alaykumus salaam wa rahmatullah, no ahmad revoking someones citizenship for marrying a muslim from another country has no basis in the sunnah and democracy contradicts the shariah in many cases (eg ruling by man-made laws vs ruling by the laws of Allah).

It is a pity that many people discredit posts such as the one posted above by Ahmad simply because they pose legitimate questions regarding certain legislation in saudia which contradict the shariah. It is our duty to spread haq not hide it.
