@edtanm guzman is at 140 now! i wud luv 2 see him v khan..khan wud outblast him..he reminds me of paulie but a more busier fighter! they way he swerves n moves away is exactly like paulies n u know how a defensive wizard like khan wud do to capitalize on that..the truth is that guzman has never faced a quick fighter who has defence! funeka is a bum! he was on ped's n still lost this fight..khan by 8 rnd stoppage!
guzman an't really beat nobody but soto,funeka, and funeka beat him the first time in a close fight guzman is fun to watch cant wait till the casamayor fight
Guzman is a terrific boxer. But every terrific boxer meets their match in a less talented fighter. Like Leonard-Duran, Mayweather-Hatton, Tyson-Douglas, Marquez-Pacqiauo, De la Hoya-Trinidad, Taylor-Chavez, etc. For whatever reason, these things do happen.
I for one scored the first fight a draw, giving Guzman rds 1-4, 8, and 12. But in the second fight--- nothing new. I believe it was Campbell who showed that you can always beat Funeka if you don't make weight.
@joeclemm15 In modern real life, man. Don't mean to be an internet tough guy, but fights that happen in this day and age do, in one way or another, count. Floyd and Ricky was a very ugly fight that made Floyd look pretty bad. -- But hey, Ricky does that to everyone. In which case, he's pretty much everyone's ugly match.
I dont see how he looked bad on the judges he lost one round....and it was a "comparison round" (A round in which you do better than the others so they give it to you) I didnt think the fight was close personally. Everybody is entitled to their opinion though
