@elysbons Exhale is breathing out when you scream, whilst inhale is breathing in, they give different tones. It's alot easier to do Inhale then exhale, exhale tends to ruin alot of peoples vocal cords.

Other then that maybe someone has something else to add. I'm not really a vocalist, just a lover of good music.

Metallica is my favorite band. James Hatfield sings low but not screaming and i like it that way. I'm sure his father Bruce Dickinson will have to teach his son how to sing like he does it.

And there is a reason not many people can do 'Bruce's Singing' considering its 'Bruce's Singing' and not anyone elses. And just because his dad is the one and only doesn't mean Austin has to sing exactly like his father.
