why do you think mandriva is a pain in the ass?? someone suggested on installing it to me. Im just curious on what people think about mandriva. Im about to get a macbook pro and would like to install a new OS. if you think that mandriva sucks, what other one would u suggest??

yes i just finally got it now and yes it does all that only put that in your cd and run it live no need of isntallation well i tryed this dsl linux, ubuntu ultimate gamer edition 1.4 mandriva 2008 64 sabayon x64 opensuse10.3 x64pclinux os 2007 the fastest one mandriva 2008 easiest to use ubuntu gamer edition and the only one i suceeded with the efects sabayon x64 you can do it in ubuntu i just tested in vmware workstation

could you tell me whats the difference between mandriva 2008 and Ubuntu 7.10?? Im not a gamer, i just surf the net a lot, but i want an OS that gives me good eye candy. In your personal opinion, what would u recommend?

well i personally recomend to you ubuntu ultimate 1.6 i reply this comment from that os and is just amazing i just made resident evil biohazard to work almoust all the stuff from windows works here looks amazing dark theme just type here on youtube ubuntu ultimate 1.6 and you will see and is free also no virus no nothing you wont regret
