  • 5 dislikes? Really?

  • Holy shit the sound quality on this video is horrible. Can't even hear the fucking guitars and they're the loudest thing imaginable on the actual album...

  • @haloinahaystack Most people do not realize a lot of the lyrics on Jane Doe, and some of their other stuff, aren't ever vocalized.

  • In less than 2 minutes i like these guys! They should do a show with Pig Destroyer and Rotten sound that would be a sick show

  • Damn, Jane Doe is hot.

  • I love metal, but I don't like this song. they need to turn his mic WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY down, it's way to distorted.

  • @crazyperson6 It's not the level of his mic, it's the fact that he holds it way too close to his mouth. It's a stylistic thing, and I don't think he plans on changing it.

  • @WarGoatForestWolf666 Well I personally do not like it, but that's just me.

  • @crazyperson6 Jake Bannon personally likes his vocals loud and distorted. That's his kind of style and alot of the musical parts he makes for the band, he always has a reason for it. That's just how straight edge is. Converge basically invented the Matchcore genre in the 90's and I don't think they'd change an ounce of what they do. xD

  • i can't even hear those lyrics

  • I used to live in the barracks and my next door neighbor would come home and play this song on the drums everyday after work. I miss those days, I miss my friend. I guess there we'll 'stay gold.'

  • what the hell, did they actually incorporate the beginning of Fault and Fracture in the making of this video??

  • @xBillyTheKidx It's weird, they did like 2 different versions of this video. There's a full length Fault and Fracture version too.

  • Heavy song. Juast awesome.

  • attack attack is so much better than this..

and asking alexandria.. jeez some people just dont know good music..

  • @MattTisbert Pfffft hahahaha.

Holy shit. I love me some irony.

  • @MattTisbert An expected comment coming from someone born in 1990. You weren't alive during the 80s, 70s, 60s or the 50s and hardly can even recollect anything from the fucking 90s, so don't tell us what fucking good music is. Attack Attack and Asking Alexandria are for young boys who think "screaming" makes you seem tough. Your Backstreet Boy sensibilities is only masked by your "chug chug" guitar riffs. And seeing how you were seven when the Boys were popular, you won't get this comment.

  • @drslobulus haha i was just joking... i thought it was clear when i said the word "Jeez" haha.. i love converge.. if you like them.. check out revenge and ambush.. also great bands of the genre

  • @MattTisbert Haha, sorry for the verbak attack. My apologies. It's just that I've been seeing a lot of comments like that on videos like this for a while now, and I just kinda snapped. Irritating. Anyways, I will look into you recommendations. Cheers.

  • @MattTisbert haha its all good man, i understand

  • @drslobulus damn man you got trolled lol

  • @DoubleEdgedSword12 Damn man you got jizzed on.

  • Enjoy happiness with Coca-Cola and Converge, hehe.

  • @Stereotest Hahaha fuck ads.

  • All their lyrics are amazing

  • Dear, I'll stay gold just to keep these pasts at bay

To keep the loneliest of nights from claiming you

and to keep these longest of days from waking you

For I felt the greatest of winters coming

and I saw you as seasons shifting from blue to grey

That's where the coldest of these days await me

and distance lays her heavy head beside me

There I'll stay gold, forever gold

    Yes GREAT lyrics

  • @smokeit13 its funny all the people that listen to this music have no idea what they are saying and when they claim they do i just have them listen to a random song of people they dont know screaming the same and they sit there doing nothing

  • @TH3Omaster Lyrics aren't what solely make a song good. Many people, like myself, prefer emotion expressed through instrumental and vocal techniques. If you're listening to extreme music for lyrics, you're looking for the wrong music. I recommend you try radio friendly rock like Nickelback, they might suit you more.

  • @Human8Stain That was a good one. And I agree. Sometimes music is not just about the lyrics. The instrumentals and the emotion through the vocals make the music as well.

  • @Human8Stain

I consider the written-lyrics of some vocalists to just be sort of like a free verse version of whatever the sound of the song says. If a band is good, then understandable vocals aren't necessary. If a listener doesn't catch it and just dismisses it as 100% anger or whatever, then the music is just too challenging for them.

  • @Human8Stain Or good hip hop.

  • @Human8Stain i highly disagree but ok

  • @macadoolahicky If lyrics are truly the only thing you care about in music then why do you even listen to music? Seems like poetry might suit you more.

  • @limoguy333 i disagreed with the example he gave (nickelback), not his statement lol =] but for me its 50/50 both lyrics and the music make it for me. for this stuff a little bit less but yeah

  • @Human8Stain very well put. the emotion behind the music and vocalizations is much more important than lyrics in heavy music.

  • @Human8Stain Sorry, but extreme music has some of the best lyrics around. You won't find anything more thought provoking and intellectually stimulating than extreme metal lyrics. It literally couldn't be more opposite of what you just posted. Nickelback lyrics = Garbage created for radio. Integrity, Converge, Ringworm etc. read them...top to bottom. Don't skim them. That's I'm sure how you reached this absurd conclusion.

  • @Human8Stain Lot's of extreme music has good lyrics :)

  • @Human8Stain What you say is true if you were talking about Attack! Attack! or something. Because good talented music can come in all shapes and sizes. I love poetry, and i love extreme talent, and Converge pulls both off extremely easy. One of their songs has a riff in 19/16 time signature, and it pisses me off when i have difficulty playing it. xD that's the music i look for. And when i can't play it, i search emotions through lyrics, and that calms me down quite a bit. But that's just me.

  • @Human8Stain I hate people who say that "lol you cant even sing along with it" or "lol u cant even dance to it" *bobble head*

  • @Human8Stain lol nickelback lyrics suck dick, lol these lyrics actually do have some poetic value in them. people these days man, am i right?

  • @smokeit13 I don't hear those anywhere in here.

  • RARGH RARGH

    RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH

    Great lyrics.

  • lol

  • @bassmetalhead I don't see what's funny...

  • @manka6 His brain has obviously been so astounded by this masterpiece of a song that he's lost all consciousness and awareness of life as we know it, and all his vegetable self can do now is laugh.
