They started as a comedy punk rock band. As they got more serious as a band they got more into metal, which I believe they do their best when they're doing metal. Violence Has Arrived is my favorite album. Beyond Hell is pretty good too. As for what genre this specific song is, I guess you could call it rap-metal.
