I think it would either be the motherboard or the PSU. In any case, you could take out the hard drive and put it in another computer for now (or get a cheap external enclosure for it and back up the data)

If you do end up getting the enclosure though, make sure you get the right one (sata/ide)

i did some reading about it. i wouldn't necessarily conclude it's the motherboard.
supposedly there are diagnostic lights on the front panel? what do those read?
further description of the problem may be helpful.

i don't understand the problem.... blinking yellow power light? will it not boot at all or something?
