  • Hi!

What brand of tin whistle are you playing on? Thanks for posting this and sharing your talent!

  • I think it's a Feadóg Pro.

  • Nice playing!

  • Hi! This is amazing after 3 days! You are very good for playing for such a short time. I learn by ear and you play too fast for me to really start. Do you know where on internet I can hear this played more slowly so I can learn it more easily? Thanks and keep playing!

  • nice job, this was the first song I learned on tin whistle too!! It's still one of my favorites. Keep up the good work.

  • I didn't think it sucks. I thout it was great. It was your first time? Better yet!

    Fantastic

  • Good!You are so excellent!

  • For three days, thats pretty damn good. You have to have previous experience with wind instruments, otherwise you have to be some sort of prodigy.

  • Ah, very nice, Lina.

Is that a D whistle? Just curious is all. The way your pinkie is positioned near the end of the whistle while you're playing, and the apparent pitch just make it seem in a key higher than a D. (Not that the key here really matters of course.) I still like it.

  • yep, its my feadog in D

  • It occured to me shortly after I posted the above comment that I've been watching a lot of videos of Will playing his A whistle. By comparison it has slightly more length and, naturally, a lower pitch. I was suffering from momentary brain-lock and was mildly bewildered for an instant when I watched your clip. My senses have since been restored, and I now see that it is, indeed, a D whistle you are playing.
