  • 0:02 i mean.

  • 0:03 perfect!

  • I hate how Connery wobbles when he does his sequences. Great Bond!!!

  • there's something about daniel craig....he's brilliant. you don't make any sense - craig's representation is very gritty. and clive owen??

  • yea, clive owen wouldnt fit as bond

  • Oh, come on! Doing the 18th Thunderball wouldn't be such a good idea would it? I'm glad Craig got the role, it's him Connery and Dalton who made this character come alive! So stop complaining about him and Casino Royale, or go see Mission Impossible III or some other Bond spoof.

  • I too am glad that Craig got the role. He fits Bond perfectly.

  • It is a cool stance...They had to show that he became bond at the moment he got his 2 kills. Im willing to bet the next film will have it more classical, and do the gunbarrel at the begginning of the film. And they also had to make the gunbarrel so it would go right into credits smoothly. Thats my reasoning for it anyways.

  • Daniel Craig Is Bond, James Bond

  • Best ever. Anyone who hates it can go die. ;)

  • ahhhhhhh..its pirated!!!!!lol..Daniel Craig is the best bond..But hes also preety much crazy in the movie.

  • Why does the new blood seem so... gooey?

  • because its 3-D instead of 2-D like in the other films

  • naw it was totally unexpected and badass stance too

  • That sucks! Not what I would call Bond-style. That new Bond, what ever his name is, blows. Big time. He's only better than Lazenby.

  • Best gunbarrel. Craig is amazing.

  • the best gunbarrel ever!!!!

  • the blood luked well cheesy but the gun barrel was well good, cos ovawise uve got the normal same routine of bond walkin across the screen randomly - which has no relevance to the story!!

  • this is not a bond anymore... :-(

  • That was hideous

  • I had actually forgot about the gunbarrel sequence when this happened....I was so carried away with the beginning, and it came as a shock! I love it!

  • I don't care what anyone say's, this is the BEST gunbarrel. It's the shock of it coming on screen when you least expect it. I'll admit i'm not fond of the new blood but it is still my favourite Gunbarrel

  • It's not the best gunbarrel.

  • How about the new blood with the old gun barrel.

  • it would hav been better if the door was on the other side and james picked up his gun and walked toward the door while the other guy was aiming his gun at him then james turns and shoots. like a normal gunbarrel scene.

  • The blood looked corny....I didnt like the new gun barrel. Stick it back with the opening of the movie, and keep Bond traditions...cool but should be like the old ones w the dots going left & use the bond theme, at first i didnt even realize the ,movie started, or just another preview!

  • Traditions?Pal,moviemaking changed a lot since 1962.And Bond must change too,or he'll have no new fans...and of course,no more movies.

  • It sucks! Worst in the entire series by far. Worst opening titles as well. Daniel Kleinman should be replaced. I also didn't care for the way continuity was ruined; there was no reason for a "reboot". At least the movie had a good villian.

  • this is the top grossing bond movie so shut up

  • That doesn't mean much, as ticket prices keep going up. The actual number of tickets sold would be a better measure of success. Will that number be disclosed? I doubt it.

Anyway, this "gunbarrel" is a pale imitation of Maurice Binder's classic work. Daniel Kleinman is no Maurice Binder, just as David Arnold is no John Barry. Sigh!!

  • *blink* Hey, it's not bad. Take the plot out of the current time period, place it back in time, and it would work as good backstory.

  • It's the best gunbarrel sequence ever.

  • I don't think it's the best, but it's certainly one of the best gunbarrels in the bond series.

  • What happened to the white dots going from left to right?

  • Thanks for this video!

  • Well I like the old one's more, but this is one is not bad too.

  • Best gun barrel and its cool how it jumps to credits. Much better than the original versions.

  • I love this gunbarrel! I love the way it goes into the music, the new blood and the new sound.

  • I dislike this gunbarrel but its still pretty cool in its own little way. I just much prefer the classic way, I can't wait to see some more gunbarrel sequences in the upcoming Bond films.

  • An instant classic. Switching the order with the pre-credits sequence allows for a great fade into the title music. But even better is the incredible, loud sound from that gun when it fires! Easily the most powerful Bond Gunbarrel of all. I rate this one in the top three, right up there with For Your Eyes Only and Licence to Kill.

  • will this be new gunbarrel for me it will be strange going back to the old style gunbarrel.

  • Well this new gunbarrel belongs to another make of gun, the hitman Bond is after killing, so it will be different, but it does signify he has achieved his 00-Status. I think they wouldn't use it again because the novelty and surprise can only work once. Now Bond IS Bond, we should go to the usual gunbarrel and dots and blood, leading into the pre-titles.

  • the reason the gunbarrel is not at the start in this film is because at the start Bond isnt 007, after he kills those guys in the pre-credits scene he "becomes" 007, and his gunbarrel occurs. Supposedly it'll go back to normal in the next films.

  • Without sounding too much like a nerd, technically the gunbarrel kill was his first kill, not his second. So he still hadn't achieved his 00 status. This was a nice action film, but not once did I feel like I was watching a Bond film. If you listen carefully, you can hear Cubby Broccoli spinning in his grave.

  • yeah theres a massive continuity error if you look at it that way, but thats the reason they did it apparently, and its going back to normal in the next one. I loved the film, it didnt feeling too Bondish, but it was a bloody good film and I think its about time they revampped it a bit.

  • The way the blood flows is way more realistic. Tjhey should re-use it for the next Bond. The barrel must be switched to its original. Yet the fact that the barrel is before the intro music and how the music follows is prety neat. But I have to admit that the fact that the gunbarrel is not at the very beginning makes me think that it's not like the others Bonds.

  • wiiiiccccccccckedddd

  • Good for this movie, but not for more times. His first kill only. This fits with the enemy, but every time would be boring.

  • Cool, but i prefer the original way.

  • it was a great way to kick into the titles, i think i prefer that to the original way

  • I like the original gunbarrel better

  • oh shut up, that gunbarrel was good.

  • that gunbarrel sucks!

  • That's the official gunbarrel, its not at the beginning of the film but appears after the opening sequebce and leads into the title music.

  • is there actually a gunbarrel at the beginning as well or not?

  • Not at the beginning. I think the next film will probably revert back to the original format though. This was special beause Bond wasn't a double-o at the beginning.
