J.D ~ Good to hear from you ~ yes ~ the unmistakable, timeless, beautiful antique melodies, much less lyrics, from those 2-countries touch our hearts over and over ~ so glad you enjoyed our (long-distance) rendition! Are you working on any new Droddy musical this year? Please keep me musically right up-to-date! ANDY
@andyrawn No new music at this time. I going to be on the coaching staff of a minor league baseball team in Colorado next summer and it is already taking some time. Someone I know is writing a melodrama about the history of this area to celebrate New Mexico's Centennial in 2012. I have promised to write the music. We'll see how it goes.
This has to be a first, one in Oregon and one in Southern California?! I've been a fan of M'sieu Jimmy's for a while, now I'm also big fan of a bass. Again, tenor Jimmy, no credit to the piano player, so again I'm guessing it's you? You gentlemen have done something special here, technically and artistically!
IRMGARD ~ Speaking on the Basso's behalf, love your comment ~ this was LOTS of fun and yes: LOTS of great old songs to choose from for making duets happen! ANDY
E-maill message from Greece November 2011:

Very interesting concept. I'm a sucker for any music from the Irish/Scottish traditions. I enjoyed it.

Bravo Andy and Jimmy! Old songs surely make dreamy duets and your voices go so well together, even with many miles in between.
