  • how can anyone dislike this?

  • I have seen them in concert. MUST SEE THAT SHOW

  • I am just lost for words , just amazing , I really hope to see your group preform someday. I saw your show on HD- NET & recorded it, then I went to U- Tube & I just LOVE IT. You guys & gals are Gr8.

  • Great!

  • Cool!! This is really about the ONLY style of piano I like. They play 12th Street Rag, Maple Leaf Rag, Black and White Rag (my FAVORITE!!!!!!!).

  • @fiddlestixgirl24 The BLACK AND WHITE is a favorite of mine too! The only thing I don't like is the fact I can't get my fingers to play those arpeggiated sixteenth notes in the second and last strains! It's still a fun one to play, though!

  • They are all so talented it makes one think us other players will never get there, just stay in the closet and hope 'one day' !!! really enjoyed it all, particularly the ragtime & novelty act.

  • Awesome guys! Love how you put this together; Euday Bowman's 12th Street Rag, Scott Joplin's Maple Leaf Rag, and George Botsford's all-famour Black and White Rag. Lovely job!

  • @gabbyfromTX You know what would be interesting, is if they layered George Botsford's "Black and White" with Winifred Atwell's "Black and White". Some sections wouldn't line up exactly, but I'm sure they can make it work. :)

  • Absolutely amazing! :D

  • Agnes is soo cute!

  • Awesome is all I can say!!! My hubby happened to change the TV channel and found this on.... I just ordered the DVD. Can't wait til it gets here.

  • @ellampl48 Nice!! That's awesome!! If you get a chance to see them Live... GO!!! These guys are AMAZING in a Live Concert!!!

  • The most epic video of performance I have seen in my life

  • Just saw them in Interlochen this weekend...awesome! This was my daughter's favorite.

  • This is the damn theme of Spongebob!!

I always know it was a modifided rag :)

  • Without a doubt .. THE MOST TALENTED FAMILY on the planet !!!!

  • Votre groupe a vraiment un style original et plaisant à l'oreille. Merci pour cette belle musique. =D

  • Although the key change at about 1:50 got the biggest applause, I think the change at about 1:18 was more impressive. Just an awesome performance!

  • That is very good perfomence I like this kind of music my friend Thats better

  • Remember Joanne Castle? She had nothing on these girls!

  • Are they playing in the same octave? Or is Erin playing in one octave higher? Whatever, great music!

  • This is absolutely my favorite piece by Leahy.

  • The Leahy girls are making a statement. Now if only they had a woman drummer!!

  • hey theres no end to your talents, marvellous gifts, thanks Leahy, from Brian g

  • Great ragtime medley from "Leahy". What a talented group!!! My Uncle Noel used to play these in our living room when I was a wee lad. Great memories.

  • It`s beautiful, well done! Do more of this Videos!

  • Absolutely LOVE IT!!!

  • This video is out on DVD with the whole concert and I love it! I'm a huge Leahy fan! Go Erin!!!

  • omg that looks like it'd be soo fun!

  • Ah, ok, thank you!

  • Why do they put the drummer in that cage?

  • It acts as a sound baffle so that the acoustic instrument mics/pickups don't pick up the drum kit.

  • Yup, Morigue is correct. It also keeps the stage volume level down. The monitors don't have to be turned up to hear over the kit. And it also keeps the the audience spill to a minimum. Imagine the front couple rows of seats, with that kick drum thumping at them. I wonder if Junior was doing sound that night. lol

  • Nope...not junior, try try again!!!

  • @Distrigor sound very hard?

  • @Distrigor because franks a beast at drums..

  • @Distrigor Don't you realise drummers are actually savage beasts, thats why! (Jokes)

  • @Distrigor Because drummers are crazy! Haven't you ever seen the Muppets?

  • They Make it Look So Easy

  • @steveeb58 it's easy if you know tune.

i used to play maple leaf rag even more faster, then i got bored with that song and i left it.......

  • @steveeb58 I know right? It's called Practice, Practice, Practice!!

  • WOOOO GO ERIN GO!!!

  • HOLY WOW!! Their fingers look like their on fire. I've seen these guys live 9 times and met them every time after the show. They are amazing. If you missed them in your area the last time they were there my advice for the next time their in town is simple...GO SEE THEM!!

  • HOLY HOT!!!! And they can play too.

  • Saw them on HD net and bought their dvd the same night. They are so fine.

  • Hmm, one prefers a Steinway and one perfers a Yahama piano.

  • Erin;s original electronic piano was a yamaha p200. Agnes's Keyboard is or was a Yamaha X5...I think.

  • Wow~ I love this! Saw it in TV and had to find it on youtube. My question is which one of any can I marry?

  • It is well done! Just amazing and beautiful playing! They are all very talented.

  • I recognize this style of piano playing. A lot of our old gospel music is played like this. Great piano playing! God Bless!

  • Every now and then I run across an awesome youtube...this is one truly one of those. Great playing and great video.

  • Vess Ossman wrote this piece.

  • The first piece was "12th St Rag" written by Euday L Bowman; the next was "Maple Leaf Rag" by Scott Joplin; the last was "Black & White Rag" by George Botsford. Vess L Ossman was a wonderful banjo player but did not write any of the tunes played on this video.

  • Very nice!

  • great 5*****

  • great video! thanks!

  • Ah, this is great! I love it! FAVS!

  • Woohoo - flying fingers!!
