I was 11 when I first heard this song this brings back my favorite memories during my last year in elementary school I was in Fifth Grade when this song was released
I loved Mrs. Marcum and Mrs. Deshotel and she still teaches at Whittier I told my cousin if she goes to Whittier don't be mentioning my name at Whittier
because my teacher Mrs. Deshotel will cry because I am no longer in school

i was like 11 when this song came out and thought it was soooooooo romantic.. Hello I was 11.. but funny enough this does describe the Phantom's conflict of telling Christine his feelings very well.
