@enkelille89 Yes, this song is on an album. The album is "One for All." Instead of the hand flute, they had acclaimed harmonica player Toots Thielman do the intro and melody for the first part of the song. During this part, TRG does background vocals/harmonies. Then for the second half of the song (equivalent to 2:52 in the live version above), they sing the melody and harmonies. Album can be found on singers.com Enjoy!

It's not out of tune at all - it's just a different scale. He's imitating the style/scale of of Swedish folk-music cattle calls/songs (kulning).

It´s not a Swedish folk-music song,

it´s a Ålandic folk-music song.

@Greenapplehill thats true but it did however really fast spread to the swedish speaking villages in Finland and later to Sweden itself. but both Åland and Finland were from the beginning Swedish.
