  • @981smithy Your welcome Phil............Dave

  • It must be surreal sitting in a Mk3 being hauled by a steamer!

  • @stellarartwars07 Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed.

    Cheers Phil.

  • @981smithy cheers. Several carriages in the Royal Train actually originated from the prototype High Speed Train, which makes this all the more interesting.

  • Great filming Phil. Especially in those conditions. Great to see Britannia the way I remember it in the 1950's. A like from me. Barry

  • @bkendlerA4 Thanks for watching Barry and glad you enjoyed.

  • @ConwyCastle Thanks for taking the time to watch Sheldon, it was a bit awkward only using one hand to pan and zoom back but it was well worth it to see the Brit on The Copy Pit line.

  • What a beautiful and awe-inspring little video! I've takne the liberyt of capturing a few still from it to send to my fellow steam nuts over the globe, as well as the vid, of course. How evocative the scenery is - and great to see a real steamer doing what it was made to do. Thank you SOOO much!

  • 1:09 - They must have forgotten to fix the fourth headlamp on top of the smokebox door, to complete the 'Royal' headcode! (Doesn't it usually have four headlamps?) XD

    Anyway, marvellous footage! Thumbs up.
