  • I can't watch this without Around the world in the back

  • Go to a speakeasy get liquored up and dance the Charleston in the street. I mean come on you have to be drunk to invent a dance like this. Kidding! love the video.

  • Rompeprop - Vaginal Luftwaffe

  • I find that their dance goes much better with around the world, rather than the charlston XD

  • what's the title of this music ?

  • The Charleston should "come back"! It's so fun!

  • <3

  • Michael Jackson, eat your heart out!

  • Anyone gonna watch that 50s video

  • @7roach Cuz youtube will do anything to promote stupid videos that nobody cares about on videos that arent related to them at all

  • is it me or are those moves similar to the ones in 'jerking'

  • oh, black people. so awesome.

  • the only fucking way to dance.

  • Daft Punk edition is way better

  • if u notice most of the dance we know today orginitated from this

  • @plantain007 true it just evolved. And some of the stuff today as almost gone back to this...almost

  • everyday I'm shuffling

  • Kaos Advocate

  • I shuffle. The Charleston is just to hard.

  • Origem do Free Step ? KKKKKKKK

  • shuffling before it was cool

  • Does anyone realize modern dancing (rave dancing) is very similar to this. I dance like this just for fun and didn't even realize the charleston was identical to my dancing.

  • @Pixelrelated Although I've seen alot of special dances at raves ive never seen anyone doing the charleston

  • @satanisback X stepping and other forms of dance moves are similar to the charleston. Any dance that requires feet movement seems to originate back to the charleston only slightly different.

  • @satanisback "Shuffling" is just a name LMFAO used to make it seem like they invented something.

  • @Nytheron dude LMFAO did NOT invent the name "shuffling" are you crazy??!

the word "shuffling" has been used since 2004, probably earlier.

and the dance "shuffle" was created way back in the 80's in Australia

  • I used to dance the charleston, but then I took an arrow to the knee.

  • @Asdayasman a 1920s' camera

  • We're gonna dance like this again in the 2020's

  • amazing.

  • I dislike this.. because i'm a hater and i wish could dance that well

  • the real og shufflers.

  • I Melbourne and jumpstyle but I swear to god, every time I hear big band I just have to Charleston. It's just appropriate, I don't want to waste good dancing music on modern dancing, I have plenty of time to keep dancing like that anyways.

  • crazy coloreds :)

  • Everyday I'm Charleston...

  • @sleekgeek Thanks for that comment. I haven't laughed so hard in such a long time! :)

  • It's amazing how many genres you can dance this to.

  • It's funny to see how every youth dance has elements from this particular dance.

  • 00:36 simply the best

  • @Modernremix Because it is. It was popularized in the 20's & 30's, with Benny Goodman's orchestra & Gene Krupa, the precursors to all modern music with a beat. (Pretty much. He made the drums an instrument.)

    Techno: Based around beat

    Rap: Based around beat

    Disco: Based around rhythm

    Rock: Drums are major instrument

Pop: Nothing would be there to 'pop' without a beat.

  • THE CREATORS OF SHUFFLE <3

  • having fun, charleston....

  • Electro Shuffle and Crip/Clown Walk still use those heel-outward rotations.

  • 最高!!!

  • Music may have changed

but people still get jiggy with it the same way.. no matter how much it may seem different...

  • the original jumpstylers

  • @nohemi786 More of original everything

If you take close look at the details.. alot of modern dances have some moves that charleston had ;p

  • @nohemi786 I've seen elements of this dance come into electro, jumpstyle, drum & bass, hardstyle, hip hop, well almost anything really.

  • @ccricers Indeed. Shame most probably don't know how old a lot of the moves they do are :p

  • @ccricers What I'm really curious about is how that one has the name [currently what most seem to know it by] spongbob.

  • VAGINAL LUFTWAFFE

  • @KeybladeKorney Haha, made my day.

  • Jumpstyle

  • It´s like they are denying gravity.

  • @animecrash2 are you retarded?

  • oo00 good job lmfao

  • DO THE CREEP

  • reminds me of the jungle book :)

  • Screw Party Rock Anthem...the Charleston is where its at!

  • @soulblood89 lmfao based their dance off the Charleston. they even said the best way to shuffle is to learn the Charleston first.

  • Im going to learn this - so to all the ladies: resistance is futile

  • @sleekgeek

I hope you'r black, otherwise I have bad news for you....

  • @sleekgeek haahahahaha well said

  • All I can say is WOW!!!!!!

  • wie is loesje?!

  • Blabla, we all weren't born, they were dancing...Charleston!

  • It flows better with Daft Punk's Around the World

  • @keaney123321 it flows better with any of the numerous songs I synced it with...

  • Nice, finally found the original without some STUPID music playing over it.

  • Not a 30s dance, it started in the 20s based off of the charleston tune written by James P. Johnson.

  • Dude at 0:37 was like...you can kick? Check this shit out. *BOW*

  • Why does the Charleston seem to be the root of all popular dance?

  • ha!

  • shuffling?? just a better way to say...... charlsting??? lol

  • Man, the second dude has SOME legs.

  • @wazabiNL

    Almost 60? Isn't it closer to 80?

  • Musicians were just as crazy back then as they are now....only difference is these guys didn't even need synthetic drugs! Crazy!

  • this is the best thing in the world

  • there on strings

  • everyday I´m shuffling

  • @XxSeedOfEvilxX You think that because Will has pulled off many of those moves throughout the seasons of the show... And the Jungle Book because of the Bare Necessities song which uses many of the same instruments as this one does.

  • When I watch this, I somehow think of Will Smith in Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air and of Baloo the Bear from Jungle book. I have no idea why? :S

  • get down! get down! that's what call a good jam....,

  • 0:11 Everyday I'm Shufflin' ?

  • the 2nd guy would knock someone head off with those kicks

  • good funny dancers

  • Bro-grabs at 1:19

  • Michael Jackson must have gotten some ideas from these guys. Love the flow, timing, and the fact that they always have full control.

  • The early roots of Violent Dancing.

p.s: the one dancer seems to dislike the sax.
