i love all the doctors but i think my favorites are david tennant and hartnell, they were both just amazing and i wish that tennant would have stayed for a few more years.
Peter Davison in my books, had the best send off!!! the last episode where his life is on the line!! risking everything to save Peri! was one of my best memorys ever of doctor who!
Davison and McCoy are my favorites. Davison, even in comparison to recent Doctors, seems like the most human and McCoy was hardcore, just look at him boldly go towards the cam without even looking at the explosion behind. LOVED IT. I know, I am supposed to like Baker, but I could never warm up to him and he never seemed like an overall likeable Doctor to me. A bit overplayed for me, that's all. But I am in the minority here I guess.
Davison was able to play a more human side of the doctor, without having to get over emotional or fall in love or having trapped companions coming back!!
I like McCoy because of Ace - they need another companion like her! Plus he explored the darker and funnier sides of the doctor.
I didnt like Colin Baker - he was a psycho lol! Tom was OTT but then played the doctor for 7 years so some of the episodes are good... shame he wasnt in the 5 doctors properly
The youngest person (before Matt Smith) to play the Doctor. His real surname is Moffet and he changed it so he would not be confused with a writer who had a similar name to his. His daughter, (Georgina) appeared as Jenny in the Season 4 Episode "The Doctor's Daughter"
i liked his interpretation of the Doctor very much.He should have lasted more than just 3 seasons--shame really. His Dcotor was the first one i could actually imagine myself travellling with. He wasn't mean to his companions.
@bluestripetiger From what I've read, Davison had initially of course decided to follow in his favorite Doctor's steps (Troughton) and leave at three. Then his last season the stories got better. He tried to rescind his choice, but by then Colin Baker had been cast.
Davison is just barely second behind Pertwee as my all time favorite Doctor. Colin Baker, McCoy and currently Smith round out my top five.
@jadewarlock Peter Davison's choice to leave after three series, was damn foolish and I wish he had stayed four or five but he ade a foolish choice. Peter was not my favourite, Doctor by any means I liekd his Cybermen story Earthshock and I seriously think Tom Baker should have been replaced by an older man as his successor Graham Crowden for example.
Good to see Peter's Doctor back in the recent Children In Need Special, Time Crash. It's amazing how well he fitted right back into the role actually. Good for him!
Yeah, add me to the curious ones about where you got some of those pics. I was buying Doctor Who monthly during the ancient years when Davison's episodes were airing and thought I'd seen every publicity still about 10 times in that magazine. Thanks for the fresh look! :)
My favourite Doctor.

He was good but Tom Baker is the best and definitive Doc. Pertwee was exceptional as well. I would put Davison in third tied with Patrick Troughton.

I think he was better than Tom Baker as Doctor Who! Tom Baker is over rated. Yeah Tom was great but Davidson was better.
