Great job on this vid. If Fox had used it instead of their junk the series might still be on the air. This was the first show since X-Files that I felt worthy of my time. (Well this one and T:SCC) It has so many multiple plot lines, any one of which could exceed a typical network show, it could have gone almost anywhere. Instead the only place it went was to the attic.
Why did they have to cancel Dollhouse. People don't give shows like this a chance,Look at Buffy how many of as have had friends family look at you funny Buffy? little do they know these shows are the most amazing show they will ever see❤
wonderful video here! I was reluctant to watch this show at first. then I found myself absolutely wrapped up in it after the first few episodes I couldn't stop watching it. There are so many stories left untold this along with Firefly were cut short before they got a good chance to blossom, like Buffy. I think if these shows had a chance to grow they would have been even more amazing and mind blowing as they progressed.
Dollhouse was brilliant, interesting but soooo underrated TV show. It deserved more and more seasons. Eliza Dushku did a wonderful job - amazing actress. Victor (Enver Gjokaj) and Sierra (Dichen Lachman) became one of my favorite TV couples ever. All the cast was great except for the guy who played Topher. He was so annoying and his acting was weak
In some moments Dollhouse reminded me my favorite TV shows of the 90's - La Femme Nikita, The Pretender, Spy Game and even RoboCop: The Series
@TinEarTom Haha that's awesome. This video is brilliant. I often say that the writers/producers of TV shows and movies should hire talented die-hard fans to create their trailers because they're always so much better than what some professional who doesn't really care will create.
This is so beautifully executed. I'm in awe right now. Amazing!
Here from Whedonesque. I'm blown. a. way! This trailer is what I see in my head when I remember the show, and the possibilities that should have been.
Fox did at first seem like they'd learned their lesson from Firefly, but come to find out later they were still just as good at putting their fingers where they shouldn't be. I think Joss managed to fix the things they messed up by the end of S1, but by then the ratings police had already done their damage.
@multiplecats Thanks so much! I logged in to my account this morning for find tons more views, likes, and comments here than I remembered from last night. This is so exciting for me, as a loyal patron of Whedonesque. If only I could actually score a membership.
OMG, this is amazing. Pretty well done. Only thing that bothers me is that the music is too loud at some parts that you barely hear the dialogue, but apart from that it's really pretty awesome. Well edited. The best Dollhouse trailer I've seen so far.
Personally, I think Dollhouse had very interesting concepts that could've been executed better. This trailer is great representation of the ideas that Dollhouse explored
@Khaeysa I would agree with that review. :) Every few episodes a particularly good case for/against certain aspects of the Dollhouse would come up, and I found myself thinking about these scenarios more than what was shown in the episode. It's definitely a great show to think and talk about.
As always, delightful. And while I'm a Firefly fan, I've never seen Dollhouse....so as a person who didn't know anything about the show, I feel educated! I think you were wise to minimize the level-altering effects, to keep Whedon's feel for the show. Great job!!!
@Harpylady269 Thank you. :) I'm a dedicated Browncoat for life, so it was very exciting seeing Wash and River again in this show. Not the characters, the actors, of course. As well as many other beloved Whedon alum! It's a fun ride, I'd say that some of the best episodes rival the greatness of Firefly at times.
I knew you'd love the show! And your trailer was outstanding, as always. Like and fav! I would love to see an all Epitaph trailer, as those episodes are a whole other story in their own. :)
@troyfin2 Thank you! And I agree, the Epitaphs were hard to include because they are completely separate from the main season arcs. But I couldn't resist throwing in Iris's scream, a little Felicia Day love, and Whiskey looking *creepy as hell!!!* at the very end.
This is better than the real trailer.

I'm not a fan of these text effects, and the sound could be better, but the editing is really good, it captures the show very well.
