My dog tries to drink her own drinking water. After her dirty hind was bathing in it. She loooooves the taste of soap.

@yaoifangirl2009 Well, you are kinda washing away all of those good scents she's worked so hard aquiring on her coat. Maybe if the shampoo smelled like a mixture of dog treats, used bath towels, and dead squirrel they'd like it more. :P

@1cme1 That can be trained out of them pretty easily for some. With the right shaping, you can teach a dog to like almost anything.

my shibia goes absoutly mental, ear piercing sounds that will make u go deaf forever if i put him in a tub. he claws and tries to jump out and even when u try to help him out hes gonna claw ur skin off. but i found out its just the tub he hates, when i wash him outside on teh grass he doesnt say a word.Give that a go, and if that doesnt work sucks to be you lol =P

You aren't supposed to bathe Shiba Inu dogs.

@RavenKitty You're supposed to bathe them, yes. You are supposed to do it once a month because you will mess up the waterproofing of their coat if you do it more then that.

Most shibas react like this at Bath time - I've had shibas for 13 years and have the same reaction no matter if the water is warm or cold (they love playing in the sea and rivers etc tho)!!
