@UpperCrustthe3rd You know Auburn played Chattanogga this year, right? And Boise didn't play any I-AA schools this year. And the only reason BSU have to play I-AA schools sometimes is because a few schools back out of their scheduling deals so BSU has to schedule these schools becasue they need a team to fill a spot at the last minute.

The last time a major SEC team played a major non-BCS was Utah vs. Alabama. Don't think I have to remind anyone what happened there. They may not be scared to play the Big Ten, ACC, or Sun Belt, but until the big conferences give Boise some chances, they have no right to talk them down.

Jeron Johnson is a cheap-shotting thug. He had an even filthier hit on Ed Dickson (Oregon) in 08. This is part of the reason people around the country haven't fallen in love with the cute little Broncos. They are cheap, buck-toothed trailer trash who managed to snatch a few skill guys from south los angeles. They beat up on the worst conference in the country, load up for one marquee game against freaking oregon state (really?!), and then expect to walk into the bcs championship game.

I googled if in fact Boise lost to BC and or East Carolina but I didn't find anywhere where it said they lost to either of them in a regular game never mind a bowl game.

@crez1985 Boise St. lost to Boston College in the 2005 MPC bowl. BC dominated them 27-0 until late in the 3rd qtr when Boise St. suddenly woke up. BC hung on to win 27-21.
Boise St. lost to East Carolina when current Tennessee Titan RB Chris Johnson played for ECU. That loss was in the 2007 Hawaii Bowl. ECU kicked a FG as time ran out to beat BSU 41-38.

@pjohn56 and that was what 2 out of the 8 losses boise state has had in the past 5 years. and not to mention we have only been beaten by 20 or more in 1 out of the 8 lost games we played in the past 5 years. most of them were within a touchdown or a field goal.

@GeauxSaints7 not necessarily, neither team was playing their best it looked like the first game of the season Oregon would have killed Auburn if the teams didnt have such a long break. Besides Oregon only lost by 3 points in the last 2 seconds of the game that doesnt exactly spell out "Bigger, Faster, Stronger" They should have won by 15 if they really were.
