@zedstheman Garrel was actually going to play "Lawrence" in the upcoming film "Lawrence anyways" sadly he dropped the role. He did however made a guest appearance in the movie "Heartbeats" but it was sorta like a cliffhanger. You didn't know if he was gay or straight.

It's more about finding love than multiple loves. Sorry, I really don't want to give it away! If you message me, I'll tell you haha. I bought the DVD off Amazon and it was TOTALLY worth it!

Wow, the trailer to me is a lot different than the actual film. The actual film to me was very bleak and melancholy. It was really really good though. I'm obsessed with the song Esmael sings about the sky right now.

While watching, you have to first take into consideration that French culture is different than here in the USA (far less hung-up on sex and sexuality). The trailer is not deceiving. The film is about the FAILING of a "Ménage à trois" (get some culture Video and use the right term) and how a tragic turn-of-events leads the main character to self-acceptance and a renewed and beautiful ability to love more honestly. There are a lot of funny scenes if you're attuned to French culture.

I watched this trailer over and over again, and couldn't wait to see the movie. Well I just watched it last night, and I have to say I feel deceived. The movie is nothing like the trailer makes it out to be. It's not a movie about threesomes or even three lovers. In fact, that part ends very quickly. The best scene in the movie was the morning after he brings home the waitress and he sneaks out while the two were talking. The editing made it look hilarious. The rest was a disappointment.

I wouldn't recommend this amazingly great movie to all you anglophones out there. One must be open minded in order to appreciate this film. Why don't you go for Gigli or some Hugh Grant movie if you want to see a love story you'll really enjoy? Simple story line, no fussy dialogues. Perfect for an anglophone.

Yes and no. The dreamers never "really" had the threesome approach but the similar erotic vibe is definetely there. I also think this story is a lot more involving and connected than the dreamers(you don't have to think as much to get it). I really loved this film and the music is great also. I have the soundtrack I really was a bigger fan of the music but the story is great too :)

This trailer is really misleading. But that's good, because way too many trailers tell too much of the story.

That said, I absolutely love this film! There's a quote in the trailer about developing weird little crushes on Christophe Honore's films and he's so right! I'm just so enamoured with this film, I can't stop thinking about it.

So my advice is: watch it, it's fantastic!
