WOW way to go guys, allot of people put survival kits up but not so many people TEST them. much less a one for 20 bucks. Way to go. and cool to see a suprise visit from Envyrosponsible.
If you have a tarp or some kind of waterproof sheeting, I would simply make a shelter from that. It's much more expedient and takes less effort (calories), not to mention being lower impact.
Great wrap up guys. Since you both have shown your $20 BOBs and your normal kits. How about an infield trial of your normal kit with the improvements from this experience?
@haha48 In a real situation I would never use my knife like that either. I try to save my knife at all costs but considering the length of the challenge I was not concerned about it.
Notice: SHELTER is the most important Rightfully so. Great $20 BOB's Again Water was the second most as is in SURVIVAL order. Shelter 3 hours, Water 3 days. I think now you two should merge the best of both bags and tweak the perfect $20 bag. Great video and very informative. I love the detail and hands on use of the equipment on this channel. Thank you very much and good luck
I don't understand about the water. Filter it with your shirt then boil it. It should be fine to drink.
