  • she is great i love her

  • BestWorldsthe, my comment has nothing to with you...come kiss my A-Hole....

  • yes ...if you don`t like Reba why you opened her song? .....hug for everyone who love Reba

  • hey anthem11212 stop talkin crap about reba, if you don't like her then don't leave comments. a lot of people enjoy reba and hate seeing comments like yours. so don't leave a comment if you don't like someones voice, because everyone else does.

  • ...haha... ur sort of an a-hole

  • hey people give me some help me type in frank holley and give me some comments and views at the video labeled '121' Peace out thanks

  • wow I love this song. I am learning this song It is very easy

  • Really nice cover of this song...one of my sick, dark desires is that Reba would have done Playboy when she was in her 30's.

  • great song! Love this! (why did you take away embedding this video?)

  • I have a new understanding of this song.

  • With this video, she took this song to a new level.

  • Good version of one of the Everlys' best.

  • Reba is my all time favorite and when I was a little girl this was one of the first videos and songs that i learned every word to and would cry singing it because I loved Reba soooooo much

  • i love this song and the setting

always had a thing for that kind of setting XD

  • every time i play this song my cousin gets pissed because thats his wife's name lol

  • @michaeldavis678

lol my mom is the same way bc my papaw's wife's name is kathy lol

  • I love this video & her version of the song. Man I had forgotten just how handsome Bruce Boxlightner was & I am sure still is. He looks extra yummy as a cowboy , all dusty from the ride, looking very fit, oh let's just say hubba hubba! I think I need to walk outside & cool off, maybe have a cigarette, nope, can't, I don't smoke, but if I did...did I say I really like this video?

  • man, your not kidding. Hes hot. lets rope him have our way with him!:)

  • sounds like a great plan to me The REDROSE1976 :)

  • TheREDROSE1976,

I always found him even more attractive because, by all accounts, he is one of those really faithful guys, totally devoted to his wife, Melissa Gilbert (or at least that is the last I had heard) & I find true faithfulness a real turn on, just the thought of, "I only have eyes for you, the rest of the world can go away" oooooolala

  • killer version.............

  • This song always has been and always will be my most favorite song of Rebas. There is no truer country than what is sung here. Go Reba!

  • I never really liked this song. But my mom loves this song. Good lyrics, it's a true country song.

  • actually i grew up in the 80's and ive always listend to reba

  • cawboybutterball10 wasn't referring to growing up to her music in the 50's- just the western actors.

  • actually i read it the wrong way at first and i had relized that after i posted...i grew up with my grandparents and i also reconize alot of them as the stars on tv westerns....i used to watch those shows all the time with them...so thanks for trying to point out something i relized myself

  • For us "old " Reba fans who grew up in the 50's and 60's. We reconize many of the cowboys sitting around the tables as the stars of some of TV's early great westerns.

  • reba has beautiful eyes

  • Wow, she really makes this her her own, in a good way. :) This is how covers should be, not just a rehash of the original!!!

    God Bless ~Amy

  • Holy crap! This was my first Reba song I ever heard. I was around 10 and this song made me love her forever.

  • Hellooooooo BRUCE!!

  • This song has a good message in it ALOT of woman are VERY manipulative so beware guys!

  • im 21 years old and i still have a crush on reba

  • Eh, don't care for it much. But I always thought the Everly Bros. version was terrible

  • havent heard this song in years... wow, memories. Reba's always been my fave country singer.. as far as the story goes, whoever this "Cathy" is needs to get her head examined. that guy's pretty fine. no wonder Reba's character likes him heehee

  • I've always loved Reba! And I absolutey LOVE this song! I sang this once for a college talent show.

  • I miss her ): You know what i mean.

  • First woman i ever had a crush on lol

  • She sounds alittle like Dolly in this video.... anyone else think so? Just alittle?

  • No thats the reba i grew up too no not even a little

  • i love reba <3 i got to meet her and she is so down to earth!

  • i love this song

  • 20 years wow how time flies

  • brilliant.

  • ok my heart just totaly sunk to the floor:( i just looked up bruce on google search god hes all fat and old now,,,,,well i guess it has been 20 years

  • omg i am so in love with bruce boxlighter from this vid was so damn hot back then

  • Her voice is amazing

  • Omg! Her hair....love this song & video

  • Miss Reba does get some height to her hair doesnt she? It looks great!!!

  • Awesome Song!!! Like usual

  • the bartender is my best friends grandpa

  • Do you know the name of the western this was taken from ??

  • it wasn't a movie..that was all just for the video. Reba did several like this one. sure wish she'd do some more.

  • she did a great version from this. i wonder whose that hunky cowboy is?

  • that is Bruce Boxlightner

  • reba is so great every time she sings the word "SOUND" here like it has 4 to 5 syllables

  • Cathy treats her man really bad doesn't respect him and puts him down and does things behind his back (cheating). Reba's charactor is obviously feeling bad for him. Everyone says he's Cathy's clown (he's a fool) for letting her treat him so badly

  • I love Reba and I she sings perfect at this song. And she did pick a good guy.

  • I know, he's hot.

  • hes bruce boxleitner,,,,,he starred in the late 70s or so with kate jackson

in The scarecrow and Mrs King,,, great show

  • And later in Babylon 5. (sci fi)

I'm not really into coutry, but Reba rules!!

  • Reba has great taste, that man is gorgeous! YOWZERS! I love this song, both versions from the Everly Brothers to Reba

  • I love both this song, the green dress Reba's wearing, and her big red hair. I'd like to see more Reba music vidoes like this one in the future.

  • Man... Just Reba.

  • One of Reba's best. Very nice!

  • And Bruce Boxleightner...wow...haven't seen him in years. He married Melissa Gilbert who played on Little House on the Prairie.

  • Oh my God! They don't put this kind of budget and production value into music videos anymore. There is comparitively so little footage of Reba here, she's only in about 50% of the whole thing and there are no backup dancers! It's just like a scene from a big-budget musical.

    Well done!

  • A pleasure to re-visit this - ***** Gene *****

  • Am I the only one who thinks about Wuthering Heights every time this song comes on?

  • REBA ROCKS!!!!!!

  • this came out the year i was born! i just heard it today and love it

  • her hair looks cool

  • Before I was born my dad was listening to this song and he thought she was saying Cassie's Clown, and wanted to name me Cassie because of this song!

  • i love her dress

  • That's Bruce Boxleitner playing the cowboy.

  • cool

  • Beautiful

  • She's not misinterpreting anything. The idea was to do the song from a females perspective as it hadn't been done and Reba loved the song. The Everly Brothers song is still available, Reba hasn't hurt it, you can listen to it all day if you want. I'll stick with Rebas version myself because I love this version.

  • She gave a perfect heart broken song from the point of view from a womens broken heart. The Everly Brothers gave it from the mans point of view..

    Both are great.

  • No! She feels sorry because the other woman is treating him like crap. And hes her clown ( the other woman)

  • Her eyes at 2:10 are beautiful....

  • Maybe I'm just tired or something, but I don't get this song/video. Is Reba supposed to be Cathy? Or is she singing about how he's with Cathy and she wants to be with him? Just trying to figure it out.

  • no reba's not cathy, reba is singing about how she feels bad for him and how he shouldnt be with her (cathy) and she likes him so thats why she says "i want your love". I hope that helps, this what i thought when i heard this song

  • This video is from the movie Tremors and no Reba is not supposed to be cathy

  • This video has nothing to do with the movie "Tremors."

  • she doesn't win except in his knowledge and feelings but she's not lucky here. In space not time. Check out carmina burana carl orff

  • iam not a big reba fan,,, ok sue me i love miss dolly,,, but i have loved this version every since the first x video came out,,, such a great job,,, and i love Bruce boxlighter(sp) is that him from the show scarecrow and miss king,,,, yummy love him and love this song

  • This song wasn't a favorite when I first heard it, but it has grown on me. I only heard the original Everly Brothers version recently. It's hard to compare them - not just because one's a male duet and the other a female solo, but the point of view and tone are very different. I don't think you could sing the song from Cathy's point of view, so I think it's cool they found another way to get the female perspective. But I like Reba's version better because I find it more moving.

  • This is an awesome video!

  • reba rocks

  • Dolly's and Vince's > Whitney's

(And Lord knows I love teh Everly Brothers...)

    but

    Reba's > Everly Brothers.

  • i love this version of this song.

  • I love her voice!

  • I disagree with you (Play). Reba sing the song with a lot of meaning. She sing about a love unfull fill. Whos wife treat him badly.

  • I love this version much better. Reba is a one in a milliion singer! She make any old song just amazing!

  • bruce is so good looking! 1 hot MF!

  • my mom turned me on to this very awesome song!

  • I don't know what the best part of the video that I like beside her voice. Is it hers pretty green eyes or the cleavage she is showing. lol

  • Bruce Boxleitner was simply gorgeous back 'in the day'!

  • this one is the first Cathy's Clown I ever heard. Good job Reba Yes I have heared the orgenail and they are both very Good

that means that I did not hear that song until she came out with this one

  • Dee Dee Ramones wanted to hear that song on the Bus....

  • There ain't one Black princess that can sing as good as Reba. Mariah schrill voice don't cut it.

  • mariah was awesome a decade or so ago..... in country music reba has the best true sound, voice, a true country singer, sound and heartfelt with her songs

  • I love reba this song great

  • i love reba, and i think her outfit is freaking amazing, haha.

who knew they'd ever see reba wearing fishnet glove things? hahaha

  • Oh yeah, he sure does look handsome, rugged & manly in this video...LOVE IT. :)

  • my fave song of hers..... besides does he love you

  • At :54 and 2:18 that is Johnny Crawford, who played Mark McCain on "The Rifleman" in the 50's and 60's.

  • yep

  • Healerniki, I totally agree with you on Bruce Boxlietner..He is so sexy in this video. I'd love to ride on back of his horse with him ;)

Not to mention this song...LOVE IT. It's always been one of my favorites. Beautiful song and great video.

  • so sry went to give u a thubs up and my kitten hit my arm and i agree with u totally

  • OMG!!

    I||LOVE|| REBA McENTIRE!!

    SHE IS ||MY|| IDOL!!

    I KNOW PRACTICALLY EVERYONE OF HER SONGS AND PRACTICALLY EVERYTHING ABOUT HER!! WOAHH! I LOVE HER MUSIC TOO SHE HAS SUCH A ||BEAUTIFUL|| VOICE I MEAN LIKE JUST HER VOICE GIVES A LOT OF EMOTION TO HER MUSIC. BUT ANYWAYS;

THIS IS LIKE ONE OF MY FAVOURITE SONGSS!!

  • I agree that Reba has a beautiful voice , but for this one i have to admit that i watch the video to see Bruce Boxlietner. He has the most beautiful eyes.

  • i liked him in the show, the scarecrow and mrs king.....but he is awesome in this video... he looks so handsome and rugged and manly ,

  • i hate cheaters...i wont be anyones clown and i surely don want someone to be mine...its too painful..i mean how does one get pass something like this...

  • It is a gift to give such pleasure to us all - thanks great post.

  • she truely is the queen of country!

  • Pause it at 2:10 and look at those eyes!

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!

  • I know! She's so amazing!

  • his and hers both

  • wow simply beautiful

  • Amazing!!! Just altogether amazing!

  • Such a classic song!

  • I have always thought this was a beautiful song. And I still do. Her voice and songs are amazing!

  • Well, you mean the Everly Brothers' song. This was a worldwide hit by the Brothers reaching the top of both the US and UK charts. Reba does a nice cover but the Everly original is unequaled. They also wrote the song.

  • everly brothers was awesome, and rebas is awesome , the only woman singer i knew that covered this song.......shes got an amazin voice

  • Reba has beautiful eyes!!!!

  • love this song is so amazing and reba look gorgeous !!! really beatiful and bruce look very nice too, one of my favorites

  • I love this song so much my mom used to play it for me when she rocked me to sleep at night as a baby

  • For your Information Loretta Lynn and Tammy Wynette both love(d)Reba and thing she Is awesome. SO mabe you should learn something about Country music before saying anything like that..dont you think?

  • You may not like it but don't be dragging Lorretta and Tammy in to support your argument. Lorretta has said that 1) She loves Reba. 2) Rebas music has helped her a lot. 3) Anyone who didn't try to learn something from Reba didn't know much. 4) Reba was one of the best 'girl singers' out there. CMT Giants has it on record so stop calling Lorretta a liar. Tammy may be dead but Dolly and Barbara Mandrell both love Reba, 3 Queens disagree with you.

This song is a female take on a male song.

  • God, she's so intense!!!

  • omg put this video on mute and just watch reba, if you're not in love with her yet you will be.

  • what year did her version come out ?

  • This came out in the late 80's.

  • Shes Great !! Love her .. Fav country singer ..

  • Is there anything reba can't sing

  • Love this song was just at her Concert with Kelly last week was awesome LOVE IT

  • Bruce Boxleitner has a James Denton kinda thing going on....Could play brothers???

  • Superb voice - magic song -

  • My one criticism of this video is we don't get to see "Cathy." Wouldn't it be nice to see Reba give her a good glare? lol

I must not have thought about this when I was watching this video as a kid, but Bruce what's-his-name (I forget how to spell his last name) is really hot!

  • I am sorry I wasn't able to contact you regarding your comments, equality, but your comments make absolute sense about Reba and I have adored her ever since she was highly respected as an actress, singer and a comedian.

  • i guess i dont understand why people are saying "thats not what the song was SUPPOSED to be about" or "why did she change the lyrics"? There's absolutely no point to doing a cover exactly the same way as the original artist. Reba put her spin on it, and made it emotionally meaningful in a different way. She tells the same story the Everly Brothers tell, but from a slightly different perspective. And she does it beautifully.

  • I get emotional for the first time I hear Reba McEntire singing this heart warming number in this video. She has put so much passion and emotion into this song and I though it is so beautiful. I rate this video an impressive A+! I will never forget Reba McEntire as both beautiful and funny since she starred in her own comedy show. While she's amazing as an actress, and comedian, she is simply best known for her irresistible singing. This is the proof,

  • I have a Live version CD of her 1989 (I believe) tour...she did this song on that album. Her back up singer then was Suzy Wills. I know Linda Davis also sang back up for her for a time. I am not sure which this is.

  • it sounds like linda davis. that is who i am going to say it too.

  • Reba's a great singer and even better live. Her background singer fit her style and vocals to a T and wish I knew who she was. Everytime I saw Reba in concert the singer dipped her head or turned away so you couldn't see her face in the spotlights when Reba was moving around on stage and thought she deserved better.

  • When did you see her in concert. For a long time Linda Davis did back up for Reba. She quit for awhile and made a couple of CD's herself, then went back to work with Reba during her last few tours...I hope this helped a little. If not I hope you do find out who it was.

  • Maybe the background singer was a bit shy. Some very talented performers prefer to support rather than be in the spotlight, they can enjoy their music and the thrill of live performing without having to carry the load, it's safer than being the one in the spotlights glare.

  • awesome!!!

  • I always love any of Reba's songs, I think she is amazing!!!!

  • First time I've ever heard this song and it's one of the most amazing... different... just wow.

  • as a woman you feel his way
