"U.S. exports to China would increase if the Obama administration were to insist upon balanced trade, as permitted by a special WTO rule for trade deficit countries. He could impose an across-the-board tariff on all Chinese goods whose rate would be kept proportional to the U.S.-China trade deficit. The Chinese government would then take down its many, many barriers to U.S. products."
To heck with you guys in China and the spineless U.S. congressmen you bribe. I should have a right to drive on a safe highway without your junk putting my life at risk. Our government sucks here but we are all getting fed up. Your days of screwing America over may be numbered. China should start playing by the rules of the WTO and stop manipulating currency.
While I am sympathetic to Chinese tire producers. I don't think lobbying the U.S. government directly themselves is going to yield any result. American bureaucrats do not care about anyone but their donors. They would ignore their own citizens, let alone Chinese workers.
Buying a U.S. congressman is easy all you need is the money and China has alot of that to use complements of the U.S. consumer. They are all corrupt in congress. The days of effective government are long gone.
