Some suggestions: Listen to others as much as you talk, and always put yourself in their shoes before you react. Know that violence solves nothing. You can always discuss the problems, one punch can kill-get a mediator if you have to. Learn to let go (especially when it comes to resentments). Be the better person...

Even if you were an innocent victim, consider this... If you retaliate, you're no better than they are. But if you DON'T retaliate, you allow the wrong to be seen for what it IS. It keeps your slate clean, and the person will get what they have coming to them. BELIEVE ME!
