Guys, you just need to make text, grids, and shapes and parent it to the motion tracking of the CD.. The random numbers are done with the built in random number generator, and you can also use that to determine the rotation of the shapes such as the circular cut outs on the CD.

Nice video. I have problems with making things flow like you do hehe.

Once you know how to make the HUD guys, just parent it to a null object that has the motion tracking of the disc; simple as that. (;

@VJtenacius Yeah; All cool and all, but IMO (And in professional opinions) they need to take what they learn from those tutorials and apply them in different scenarios; Or better yet, make a budget sci-fi movie (=3), where something like that might be acceptable. I'm working on after effects myself; Trying to come up with interesting ideas and apply them, so once I get everything down I'll hopefully be making some cool videos.

you just pasted the tute file png with tracking data from your vid,,  i have done the same thing too, AE is fun and Andrew is pretty damn good with AE. His company has done a lot of work for comercials and shows like fringe and stuff. i wanna get a job doing this stuff, but so does everyone else with AE and some dedication. There are spotty jobs avail, but to get work on in the scene you need all kinds of skills that i have not goy yet.
