LOL. Never thought you could "pick" locks from respectable brands like this. Obviously the respond from manufacturers will be to design locks so that you can't push both the pins completely out of the cylinder.
my german friend what do u call those almost key looking picks? havent seen those before but they look exciting i want to try making some, and that second tool is called a torque wrench!
Super gemacht!! Wir haben den Zylinder (XP1) an der Tür. Habe den versucht zu picken! Leider keien Chance. Ist viel zu eng. Der Pick ist mir auch ein paar mal hängen geblieben.
I made some comb picks when i was about 13 but I kept it to myself, I wish I had a computer and the internet then but other bits and pieces would have been a put off due to the cost involved.
This is so beautifly simple. It is going one step furthur than normal picking, as in this case you are pushing the upper and lower pins below the sheer line. 5 Stars.
Got to keep in mind that comb picks will only work if the lock is pinned with small key pin.. I dont know exactly but something like a #5 + cut a comb pick will not work, becuase both driver and key pin and srpoing will not fit into the houseing.
I have seen a best lock keyway that did the same thing.. the warding was so wicked you can hardly pick it sideways.. damn near impossable... if more lock companys used wardings for security fetures....it may make people safer..
very clever good job

@HifiCentret
If you can't push them out of the cylinder, then the lock won't open?
FraggingBard 7 months ago
@FraggingBard Exactly, because you can't push the pins past the sheerline

The XP1 and TSB5000 are restricted keyway locks whose keys can only be duplicated with the use of a card, or with the key number by contacting ABUS.

This is why I like Abus locks. Some of them are made to be very hard to pick.
