it's not a "real" emulator.. it only runs apps written in Xcode. you can not use apps that have been download via itunes as they aren't designed to run on this. the ipod/iphone uses a different CPU, and different architecture, which the apps on itunes are written to use, and which this "emulator" does not actually emulator. It's a simulator to test the apps you've written to test functionality and see what they look and how they will behave.
