Amazing what kind of airplane you can make from an ancient airframe with new turbine engine technology and a new rotor system. Probably a lot of updated electronics and avionics too. My Dad flew th H-34 in Vienam for the Marines. The same airframe with a radial engine.

The fact is that the pilot is not so much great as he is daring. The video clearly shows

this and that helicopter would have been grounded for a major airframe inspection if it were used for civilian passenger transport. I used to fly the MBB-BO-105 and that is even more responsive and maneuverable than this Sikorsky and I never dared touch the capabilities of that aircraft so as not to exceed the limits of the airframe or put myself or others at undue risk.

This "Great pilot " Just exceded the limits of this Helicopter- The S-58 as good as it is was not certified to do loops. That is why the A.D. for atf TXSM support fitting cracking-Thanks for adding to the work nessary to keep them flying. He's lucky he's not in the States. or Balled up in front of the crowd.

Holy crap. That guy has nards the size of beach balls. My 15 year old is training to be a helicopter pilot. I used to fly fixed wing, and he got me to "fly" the R-44 simulator. Flying rotary wing is like night and day compared to fixed wing. Those darn things have ZERO sense of direction!
