Punisher War Zone was very gory.. but it won't come close to "Seed (2007)".. A horror/psycho movie. That movie is so fucking sick and gross and gory, I think the scriptwriter of the movie is a REAL psycho! If you plan to watch it, do it on your own risk. I had to shut down the TV for a while, then continue to watch it...

Yeah, the Punisher will always be one of the best Marvel Knights Charaters, what will be kickass would be a movie teamup "wolverine and the punisher", now that will be bloody!!! Credit to where it's Due? Punisher killing "one of the gud guys" nice twist as he seeks redemption, Bad points? the insufficient screen time for his family story oh and not enuf knife kills... Well the 2004 Script & acting was definitley more solid than this one, but Ray Stevenson made a better punisher and stayed true to the comics. Punisher 2004 bent too many truths about his origin like being in Flordia, the number of kids he had and the crime family that killed his family.

The Punisher (2004) didn't bend that many truths, Frank did have one kid and a wife, the only thing that wasn't in that movie was the fact that the family didn't witness the death of a man by the mafia, but the film gave the punisher (Tom Jane) enough justification to be the punisher coz Howard saint wiped out his entire family. internal and external, The New Punisher however did have it's props like the guy that helps him with weapon procurement, that was alright.

Granted the one with Thomas jane didnt have as much action as a punisher movie should but the acting makes up for it. This movie just plain sucks for acting and some of the action sucks so bad cgi overated shit. Atleast the Thomas jane punisher stayed true to real action not cgi shit.

This movie is way cool. WHEN I buy it, i plan on editing out the Really cheesey scenes in this movie. Example; A guy goes around acting out and destroying mirrors, what a corney part of the movie that was, theres also a couple more.

I havnt seen this version of the punisher story, but it looks kikass! The 2004 version was great because of its underlying message of justice and revenge. I particularly loved his line "God's gonna sit this one out!". This movie seems to place more emphisis on the action and gore sequences. once again, I havnt seen the movie but I loved the chair through the eye sequence on the other trailer. I cant wait to see the new movie.I looks like a real killer, true to the comic.

They had a lot of good spots in the movie, my favorite one is when those acrobatic dudes are jumping arcoss buildings and a rocket comes out of no where and one of the guys just gets blown to pieces in mid-air!

Ray Stevenson (the punisher) is a fantastic actor. See his role in HBO'S "Rome". He may be able to really define this role as long as the script is legit. And crapzors... the punisher looks older? It depends on which comic you are talking about.. as his story spans roughly 30 years.

Jane,the perfect Punisher? Lmao! He's no Punisher, but I truly blame the entire production team and director for that 2004 Punisher-in-name-only flick. 2004 version was a very weak interpretation of one of Marvel's greatest and brutal heroes. This movie's trailer alone is giving me hope in that they are doing Frank Castle justice. Plus, one of the latest trailers for Warzone shows his real origin,family killed in a park, correct this time.

ok i saw Warzone and il be honest i really liked that movie. This new Punisher was almost right out of the comic book. he had that slicked black hair and that suit and all those dam weapons. the thing i liked about Jane was all that training he did. Jane was in waaaaaay better physical condition in the 2004 movie, and that made his character more believable to me because the comic book punisher was pretty ripped. but it was entertaining. very violent, but hey its supposed to be graphic.

Also he doesn't look like Two Face. His face can't be put back together and is all out of place so Jigsaw is a fitting name. Jigsaw's entire face is screwed up, while Two Face still has one half of a normal face.

The best thing about this Punisher movie is it's the Max Universe which makes it look realistic, it's very true to the source material. Add in Punisher's archenemy Jigsaw is one ugly psycopath but still dresses in fancy clothes.

Jigsaw will probably be killed after this movie. Still a few villains you could bring in like The Kingpin & Bushwacker. Always loved Bushwacker, the whole "priest-turned-good vs the priest-turned-evil" story seems cool and a good balance.
