This will make cannabutter... but it's really an inferior way. A good deal is lost from burning, and a LOT of the THC & other useful chemicals remained in the gunk that was strained. It takes much longer (hours, even up to a day or two) of simmering (preferably with your bud and butter in a jar, inside a pot with simmering water -- nothing burns that way). Best, also, to poke a hole in the top of the jar... as pressure builds, it might crack otherwise. And let it heat as the water does.

btw. weed butter isnt a must have, u can also grind the weed multiple times and then just add it to the mix for cookies or a cake, ull still get increadibly stoned from it and u dont have to w8 for the butter to harden.
