Wow! Turn pants inside out, wear them and then use marker to decide where to stitch! Such a simple but so very much useful concept..

I have tried altering 1-2 of my old clothes for my girls and this tip is really useful! I also need to alter the waist for one of my pants and this is going to help.

@syllirabbit haha thanks! I sew kind of weird >.> sewing on the table has never been comfterble for me! I don't know why :/ but on prices, that is a industrial elna that I aquired from apprenticing a designer when I was 15, when she moved she gave it to me because she got all new equipment, (and a surger) but my first sewing machine was 100$ but wasnt that good, you should really look up reviews on google for cost effective and relaible sewing machines .

Have to say that is one of the better tutorials I have seen on the subject and I liked the photo shoot! I would add a wide black belt of some kind to the outfit. You looked super cute! Thanks for the vid!
