still one of the best shows out their good job guy's you really know what you are doing with you equipment how long have you been using those trailers?
nice trailers.. in europe we have been side dumping in many years, both due to our many narrow places and due to our short draw bars on truck pulp combos.
@hwoods01 I believe Heavy haul is in the company name so it does belong in the tags, I would bet this side dump work is the lightest hauling they do. it wouldn't surprise me if their main line of work wasn't hauling oversized, & over weight construction equipment.
ya i see now its a sidedump industries brand trailer out of south sioux city nebraska from what i learned they are the ones that made it work and still hold the original patents on the idea them the number i found in the patent office is 5,480,214 and they also have a hand full more of patents they must really know what they'r doing in the sidedump world
I can tell you all that I never had a problem with a side dump. never once did i have it want to tip on me. I have pulled alot of different trailers. The side dump works great placing materials where regular dump trucks, end dumps and belly dumps cant get to it is a more convienent trailer.
tell me how the fuck you can get an end dump to do the job that trailer did? and no its not going to fuckin tip at 1:09 its designed to dump at that angle. go to side dump industries website idiot
Frameless end-dumps are probably the most dangerous contraption in the entire trucking industry. They tip over, twist truck frames and kill people. (Yeah, but the're light weight!) Tell that to the widow!
Again, pretty cool, but I'd be worried that it'd tip over sideways or are they designed so they can't carry too much stuff to tip the trailer over as it empties?
Tiny little loads.

of course, they could remove the barricades, use and end dump of any other dump truck and push it into the ditch...they have 2 lanes closed anyway
toadpecker 4 years ago
your a fuckin idiot, yeah lets take time to move the barricades then run a fuckin front end loader around to push it in.. Wow Where u from?

this looks pretty cool i know a guy who accidently "side dumped" with a regular dump trailer and screwed it and the truck up pretty bad

to seek perfect balance between man and machine is intrinsic. excellent driving perfect alignment on the "k"rails.

This might be a stupid question, but is there a counterweight underneat the other side, so that it dont tip over ?
