most pistols dont have muzzle flashes, just plain smoke and certanly not this big fire coming out...so this is extremly unrealistic, watch someone fire a pistol and u see what i mean, well physicaly there is one but its between frames and u will need a slow motion high speed camera to catch it with ur eye or on tape so its still unrealistic and as i said very many guns dont even have muzzle flashes so when doing this dont bother adding one

@pinkeinke2 in 99% of the movies there are muzzle flashes. I know they are not realistic, but it makes the scenes look better, so the visual effects departments throw them in.

@pinkeinke2 Dude... pistols do have muzzle flashes. Go, buy a decent gun, shoot it, there is aboout a 60% chance it will have muzzle flashes. Or watch FPS russia... Most of his guns have muzzle flashes, alot of them are pistols, and those are real :)

@maxpaynefan98 There are some people out there, that don't have 65$ to pay for a tutorial to learn a simple thing like a muzzle flash. I am not copying andrew kramer, cause I CAN'T make a tutorial as good as his. The best tutorials are by him, so this is not a rip off. I am teaching the technique, but this tutorial from the original one, is far far more different

@MrDitmarVisser Yeah, I am stupid because I chose to save 1000 dollars, for a program, for which the makers don't even give a fuck if people pirate it. They get so much money from companies, that they don't know where to put it, and you think that if 1 person, or heck, 1000 people pirated the program they would care? If I waited until I had the money to buy the programs I use, I wouldn't know them as I do this day. So think before you comment

@AndreasZinonos if you go to all comments, you can sort by thread . that way you can see what comments are related and schtuff, and i have already seen your response to maxpaynefan98, and i dont care. it's just stupid to do it, and horrible done far that matter.

The muzzle flash is good but you did not cast light on the hand , gun wall etc.Simply duplicate the backround layer , set it to ADD and make feathered mask around the areas you want to cast the light. Nice tutorial.By the way I am greek too!

you do it way to fast. try to do it slower. it's easer for us.

@MotionStudios10 Youtube has a 10 minute video max limit for non-partners. This was the 3rd time I recordered it, because I always ended up having a 15 or a 20 minute video. So I can't go faster
