@MaRaGamingmw2 i think they are very different boards, mini maestro is very freestyle board, with the apex i think sliding must be easyer, i have not tried any original boards yet.

Apex is a good board for sliding and learning stuff (Freeride 38" would be much better),if you want something to begin Longboarding on both boards are great but if your looking more for slides DH etc get an apex. if you want to do freeSTYLE (like tiger claws manuals and stuff) or you just want a board to cruise around on then the meistro mini is the board for you. also get Paris 195s with the apex and venom SHR bushings they feel GREAT!

@scribble030 I think you should better try it first, for me is very very tiny and i always touch the wheels. If you get one, in my opinion, they work better on top mount.

yellow stimulus is the way to freeride? i have a dervish and my orange 4pres are too hard for me. : / (i am a beginner, i know, you can slide with every wheel, but, it would be easier with them?)

@anko94 usually, the harder the wheel, the easier the slides will come out. Yellow orangatangs are harder than the orange ones.

@anko94 dude buy yellows, no wheel is too hard just dont ride over rocks or shitty cement... (yes you can slide with any wheel but the harder the wheel, the easier the slide + the longer the wheel will last, i slid my 75a racing formula wheels once and i managed to cone both right side wheels, Otang stim yellows are the way to go)

@anko94 Unfortunately the hardness of your wheel determines how long they will last, buy Hesher Snowball's they are the same duro as orange o'tangs, but are made for sliding. (Orangatangs have HUGE contact patches, making them hard to break at low speeds, hesher snowballs have TINY contact patches, making them SUPER easy to break at low speeds, but they also break when carving to hard so be careful with them)
