@warriorking4ever If it wasnt' for Amuro, in the very first episode Gundam would have either been captured or destroyed, Amuro piloted Gundam Onto White Base. Also, at this point the enemies are much tougher, see what happened when Sayla piloted Gundam? No better than when Amuro first tried, but against Ramba Ral and the Gouf it would probably get captured again. In other words, Amuro is the only experienced pilot with Gundam.

That is too true.  It makes no sense at all, but seeing as America is full of hypocrites... Nothing is bad about showing a flash here and there. What is wrong is showing the act, and that no child should see until the appropriate age. Even then explain to people what is going on. Violence needs to be explained also, and children need to know violence isn't going to solve all the problems in the world.
