Have you listened to Born Of Osiris's last album put out, The Discovery? gotta check it out man. Tosin may have been shredding with these guys which he actually was. But both Animals As Leaders and Born of Osiris both equally have chops.

In my opinion, love BTBAM especially there style, but I think Wretched generally does a tremendously good job with shred/thrash melo-death, but to the extent at shortening riffs and breaking it down to a more Death metal/thrash feel to the point where riffing comes together easier, quicker and is shortened. I personally think this band excels at what they do to a great extent.
