Visst, givetvis älskar jag ju Norges Fairytale med Alexander Rybak. Men något jag måste erkänna är att det inte var en värdig vinnare som vann. Sveriges La voix var absolut en värdig vinnare enligt mig. Tänk, där stog Malena Ernman i Moskva & sjöng så att hennes lungor nästan sprack. Bara för att bli omsprungen av en fjunig liten fiolspelare. Det är väldigt patetisk om man tänker efter.

Vissa delar av låten var bättre i Sverige, vissa i Moskva. Man borde hört musiken mycket mer i moskva. och sänkt rösterna på kören och höjt malenas. Jag tycker dock att det lät dubbelt så bra med kör. Och det bästa "slutet" eller "finalen" på låten tycker jag var när hon sjöng finalen i moskva :). det var riktig gushudsscen :D

Screaming? First rule of opera singing is never, /ever/ scream, since you ruin your voice that way. She is much to professional (and busy!) to risk her voice.

From an opera technique point of view, what she's doing is a compromise. During the verses, she sings mostly with a pop voice (slightly more definition than usual), she does some form of belt in the bridge, then opera in the refrain. The lowest note is raw chest, and the high are a bit white, favoring looks over sound, in her own words.

I think this is great because she is a classically trained vocalist. This means she can actually sing and she probably has studied Aural Skills and Music Theory. She probably also has very good pitch and can stay in tune easily. I think it's hard to find good singers anymore because of how much they change things in the studio using different effects to make sure someone with an okay voice sounds really good. then they get on stage and they suck...
