Most MLB players could go over there and dominate(Orestes Destrade, Boomer Wells, Alex Cabrera and Tuffy Rhodes all marginal major leaguers/AAA stars), but the Japanese that come here struggle to survive. They come here for the money and nothing else. If the Yomiuri Giants, most chapionship of any Japan League team, were to be dropped into the American major leagues, they'd almost certainly lose 100+ games.

Japan as well as the other countries in the WBC take way more pride in international tournaments such as the WBC than American players do. There is no way in hell the Japanese baseball league is better than the MLB. True the MLB does contain a great number of foreign players but the majority are still American. And why not sign foreign players? They are only trying to make the best competitive league in the world.
