yes.. i used it very hard, and I followed the usage instructions it came with (despite throwing them aside in the first video). the instructions tell you that it WILL kickback, it also said that sometimes the blades will get pinched together making it stall, it was right... the commercial says otherwise
The DualSaw company told me I must have gotten a defective one, sure... I think some of the steel sparks flew into the vents on top (they go everywhere) and messed up the motor.. who knows
yes, and I bet it makes a really good tool for home projects..
Craftsman makes one just like it though.. its called the Twin Cutter. you get it at Sears, which is good because if you break it, take it back and have a new one the same day.. and its $50 cheaper
thanks for this vid man. I won't waste my dough on this p.o.s. hahah. It's a good Idea though. why hasn't Dewalt, Makita, etc picked up on the idea I wonder?
Craftsman has something like this called the twin cutter.. but a project like this requires a larger saw equipped with a metal cut-off blade. Makita and Dewalt both make stuff like that
which blades did you use cause arent there special blades for metal?

no, there are special blades for granite and stone.. cutting metal only requires the standard blades and the lubricating sticks.
the blades were fine, its the motor that locked up.. when i got the motor going again it was making a grinding noise, so i sent it back

ok, yeah i looked at the website, do you think you might have used it too hard, you know instead of letting the saw blade do the work?
