Yes, it happened in real life, but...

According to history, John S. and Pocahontas never have this kind of romantic bond, and in Disney have. So what's the problem in denying history to the end and let Pocahontas and John S. be togheter? "No matter what happens, I'll always be with you, forever." Disney should have made this quotation real.

yes, first I thought I no why rolfe? why not john smith? so I didn't like rolfe.

But then I read that pocahontas married john rolfe in real life and because the story is based on a very true story so it had be this way.

recently I watches pocahontas 2 again and then I thought how pretty cute john rolfe is lol!

I actually think she'd be better with Eric...I don't like John Rolfe. He didn't have much of a personality(no offence to anyone). I mean, he was nice and polite, but...that's it. He was never angry, or sad, or REALLY Happy.

Actually if you think about it Eric was sort of the same way. And Rolfe did show emotion. He got shocked when found out who Pocahontas was, he got angry when they locked her up, he was frustrated when he had to get her ready for the ball, he was awestruck when he saw Pocahontas wearing the fancy ball gown,and he showed jealosy when Smith showed up.
