I heard of a couple of cool mmos coming this summer, darkfall failed for alot of people, but theres a game called mortal online wich has alot of the ideas of freedom and citybuilding and raiding, but looks much better. U3 engine. And aeon online looks cool to, little fantasticle though for me. I like wow.

Too fantasticle? Wow IS a fantasy game itself. Elves and dwarves buddy. Aion developers did well in thinking originally. The game is an angelic theme based MMO. There will be AERIAL combat in it. Everyone gets to fly their characters in the air with angel wings. What MMO allows you to do that? AION is trying very hard to avoid WoW's typical bull shit. Mortal online seems very promising and will give us a different feeling then the average WoW clone MMO that's released nowadays.

I want to see a chosen take on something with substance, like a clothy who can play a clothy (their rare but you can find some on some servers), an Iron Braker (and most people who play them are pretty decent) or a Warrior Priest.

A good team set up to run around with on a Chosen would be to have a Mara or a Witch backing you up with a Shaman or a Zelot behind you healing. That team would own and hold a choke point on a zone for ages, like an entrance to a keep.

I personally think the Chosen is better than the Marauder. Marauders can do some good dps and take down people pretty fast, but whenever they get a few people on them the need to get the fuck out. Chosen on the other hand do some decent dps and can take a pretty big beating.

I would tend to agree Itachi, although when played properly maras are great for ducking in, dealing tons of damage to finish off a squishie, but like you said then they have to gtfo asap.

Chosen also have the advantage of simply being a tank class and most players (atleast smart ones) won't bother attacking you first. If I see a Chosen and a Mara on the battlefield, I go for the Mara first everytime. But then, I play a tank class myself xD

Black Orc is all around good tanks, imo, the Chosen for example is a poor tank in the beginning of the game, but you get access to much more favorable tank skills later.

This is tier 1 so he's more then likely lvl 11. As for gear of course you can buy dyes to dye your gear, red for the Khorne look. With sentinel gear and above the Chosen gear starts looking pretty sinister. As for War over WoW, right now i would say its nowhere near competing with WoW. It takes alot of work and planing to lockdown zones, but it starts to really shine when you lay siege to fortresses and of course cities, but its very hard to even get to siegeing a fortress, let alone a city.

I love WAR because it doesn't have alot of kids like World of Warcraft does, the PvP in WAR is awesome I love the RvR scenarios. The graphics don't really matter to me in a game it's the gameplay and I prefer WAR's gameplay over the more popular World of Warcraft.

its two very different styles of pvp, WoW is more 1v1 - 5v5 oriented where this is completely group oriented, btw if you plan on playing this dont be destruction... our pugs suck so we have to wait for our guildies to get to 40 for premades :(
