Do the top commentators not know that the majority of Belgium speaks French? Just because the song has a WHOPPING two words in French and he says "merci" at the end... you think they're trying to make it look French? Adrien Brody is American. The majority of the song is in English. The Jazz club could very well be in the US. Why don't you argue that they're Americanizing Stella Artois instead of freaking out over three whole words.

This is like the anti-Dos Equis commercial. Not only is it not entertaining, it has a greasy headed actor spasming through a jazzy song, wooing girls and stealing their beer. It's not cool, it doesn't fit the product, and worst of all, it's on way too often.

I'm sorry but where in the commercial did they say that this is taking place in a French or even Parisian nightclub? French is one of the office languages of Belgium and that "sortie" sign could be found in someplace like Switzerland or Quebec. I know that there have been some issues between some Flemish Belgians and francophone Belgians and some Belgians are pissed that the French get credit for les frites/french fries but seriously it's a commercial NOT a platform for socio-cultural debate.
