Well he.. fought the Asian financial crisis

and the Energy crisis.. made ways to fight the El nino and i think La Nina..

He also tried to modernize AFP

but when Estrada went in.. it all went to nothing.. and more.. like encouraging

modernization in technology and education

plus transport laws.. etc.. ahh many..

The economy when Estrada came in the economy was still in bad shape. Inflation rate was 11% it came down to 3% in 1999. During the Ramos administration Estrada was appoited as the head of the Presidential Anti-Crime Commission (PACC), Estrada continued this by establishing a new sector of the PNP, the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Task Force (PAOCTF) and caught drug lords, kidnappers, murderers and carnappers. During the presidency of Estrada the approval rating of the PNP went very high.

was full of carnappings, kidnappings,

druglord taiwanese, foreign aid from Korea through military.. my relative Chinese was kidnapped under his regime.. the kidnappers were arrested

by the real police.. and not those bastards. the economy was in deep shit.
