This flick was good...intense. But I hate that Monique got sucker punched when she caught her bf going down on another woman...That was totally uncool. And then she takes a bullet in the head in the end. Her role was totally f**ked up.

Macy Gray should not act, I just don't think she has the voice to convey emotion in a scene, it's put to much better use with her singing.

Disagree. She did a great job in this film. Very convincing performance. She usually does do a good job acting though. i haven't seen a perfomance yet that is not worth watching.

Just watched this and its not as fucked up as i thought it would be! its not bad, the acting's not great but it's decent enough. I've seen worse and I'm surprised it wasn't a bigger hit.

this film looks like it's gonna KICK SOME MAJOR ASS!!! i hope so. it's been forever since i've seen Cuba in a decent film worthy of an actor like him. why he does so many bad films, i'll never understand. and with Stephen Dorff, Macy Gray, Mo'Nique and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, too? damn, it's a dream cast!!! :)
