Thank you for your answers. I myself played several years with Dáddario 009. Than I tried out the Elixirs, but my opinion is that Elixirs influence the tone to much because of the extra coating. Now I play with the Fender Bullets. They give more sustain I remarked, but how many gigs they last I yet do not know. I will try the Ernie Balls someday.
