It's sad but true. Its also a human nature thing that we are attractive to each other mostly based on beauty. Some of us like taller, darker ,richer ,whiter,latino yum,colored eyes ,dark eyes, blondes,brunettes,etc!! At a restaurant recently,my waitress was this extremely pretty and flirty woman. I'm pretty sure that her looks got her a bigger tip--not just her looks,but her personality and competance. However,her looks did play a role in her tip size not because I was judging her as a person,but because a smile from a pretty girl makes one feel good--that's reality. But,my choice for president is Ron Paul--who is not the most attractive candidate. That would be Obama or Michelle Bachmann or Rick Perry.

In some ways yes and no. I have seen nice, intelligent attractive women constantly get the shaft with other jealous females and sometimes negative comments from insecure men. People who are considered less attractive, are not threathening in jobs, or with friends spouses. A very attractive woman rarely have lots of girlfriends, however, a less attractive woman may have a host of friends, because her looks does not cause attention.

I can't tell how much of this video is toungue in cheek, but it brings up a great point. I'm an unattractive guy and the church scenario he talks about happens to me everyday. The only thing that bothers me anymore is when I'm forced into a situation where I absolutely have to communicate with an attractive girl for a business transaction, or group project at school. Anywho..I think it all has to do with where you're from and how you were brought up. I was born and partially raised in Newark, NJ. My dad is in the military and I've been in TN/KY for the past 11 years. I am guilty of treating people differently because of appearance and am glad to say that I've grown out of/been delivered from that state of mind. There is definitely a difference in the way people are treated, between the north and the south.

In some ways yes and no. I have seen nice, intelligent attractive women constantly get the shaft with other jealous females and sometimes negative comments from insecure men. People who are considered less attractive, are not threathening in jobs, or with friends spouses. A very attractive woman rarely have lots of girlfriends, however, a less attractive woman may have a host of friends, because her looks does not cause attention.

Lol, similar same thing happened to me. Back in HS girls were onto me, I was pretty good looking I reckon. Then I got sick for a couple of years, skin got really messed up, I looked sickly, tired and plain ugly. All those girls who approached me acted like they never even met me, LOL.

Our genes play alot in how we react to certain individuals, its not always a thought process we go through,its more of a natural reaction, pretty much the same way we pick our partners, so if someone ugly approaches us, our genes wont react to the person as a potential mate so we'll automatically more then likely refuse politely.Its alot to do with nature not always prejudice.

now i havent watched the vid yet, i'm just giving my opinion on the question. now beauty, as they say is in the "eye of the beholder", so whats ugly to me may not be ugly to you. another thing ugly is defined as "displeasing to the eye" or "unsightly", basically sayin you hard to look at. so if you take someone who is "displeasing to the eye" and compare them with someone that is "pleasing to the eye" or attractive. i would think the choice is quite obvious as in who gets treated better.

Anywho..I think it all has to do with where you're from and how you were brought up. I was born and partially raised in Newark, NJ. My dad is in the military and I've been in TN/KY for the past 11 years. I am guilty of treating people differently because of appearance and am glad to say that I've grown out of/been delivered from that state of mind. There is definitely a difference in the way people are treated, between the north and the south.
